Automakers Renault, Nissan and Daimler agreed to swap stakes in a bid to increase scale and share costs Wednesday. “There’s a demand for premium small cars growing, so we definitely want to participate and we want to do that successfully,” Dieter Zetsche, chairman of Daimler told CNBC.
