Discussing the winter weather factor in the jobs numbers, with CNBC’s Steve Liesman.
“I think what will actually happen to Greece and a lot of the other countries is, at best, stagflation,” legendary investor Wilbur Ross, of WL Ross & Co., told CNBC.
The euro is “ludicrously” for many of the struggling European countries such as Greece, but it is even too high for Germany, which is a competitive country, Roger Nightingale from Pointon York told CNBC Monday. Nightingale considers the future of the monetary union.
“The big risk is that there will be a downturn in markets that could impact the bond, the equity and the credit markets,” Nouriel Roubini, chairman of RGEMonitor.com, told CNBC when discussing the economic outlook Friday.
